Spring has almost (and I say almost very lightly) sprung. Even though we still have snow on the ground that doesn't stop fashion and brands are launching their spring looks now. The two outfits below are great for this in between season. I recently was looking at the new Chuck Taylor Fresh Color line and fell in love. What's your favorite spring color palette? Xo,

Yesterday my sister and I decided to take advantage of the surprisingly good weather and go shopping at this beautiful outdoor shopping mall we love. We were realizing quickly that the stores were in the process of slowly turning over from winter to spring fashion. And it's such an odd season because you never know if you need the winter coat or just a trench, or maybe you can wear just a sweater! It's the between season that comes with excitement because the color starts coming back into your wardrobe and the layers start peeling off! Below you can see a few pieces I saw that would be perfect for this in between! Has anyone else gone shopping lately and been as confused as we were? Bring on spring! Xo,
Carly Last night was the 56th Grammy Awards and in my opinion the fashion wasn't mind-blowing. I always feel like this awards show, which is based on beautiful amazing music being created between all these different artists, should be daring in the fashion world. That isn't to say though that I didn't like any of the outfits I saw; because I certainly did! Before I get into the ones I loved; let's just have another look at this park ranger here :-) Pharrell Williams brought his Smokey the Bear look and did it well! Now for my ladies that dressed beautiful! Kelly Osbourne is one of my favorite people out there! I love watching her on E! and her dad, who we all know, was too cute on the red carpet. I'm torn on this dress because I wish it was a bit more fitted or something accentuated her amazing waist line. Regardless; she worked her dad's cross necklace into it and this photo doesn't show it - but it's hanging down her back. I love a sentimental piece on anyone. I had to call it a tie because these dresses are so perfect for the Grammys and these lovely ladies. Taylor Swift looks so statuesque in this Gucci gown. And Guiliana is sleek and stunning in this Alex Perry gown. Who do you think won??
Xo, Carly I'm the type of person who starts a work out and then craves a whole pizza immediately after (and then I usually get a whole pizza after the workout!) But I have to give myself some credit because for the last two weeks - very long time for me - I have stayed at it! I have been going to the gym everyday and really staying focused. Now with Valentine's Day around the corner I thought it would be a great idea to get in the spirit to gain motivation and look cute. The items below are some of my new faves, enjoy! These tanks are so awesome for working out in because they are cheap so you don't feel so bad for sweating in them. But then they are cute enough to run and grab a smoothie after, you never know who you could bump into! Xo,
Carly At the beginning of each week it's so hard to get out the weekend mode. I just want to stay in my bed all day, watch so much Bravo network, and meander about town looking for new stores and coffee places. But instead, I am forced to be a contributing human to society and go to work. Ugh. However, I realized something. When I am home just lounging, I think I look like this: But in reality, I look like this: As much as I would love to be able to wear glorious silk loungewear with chunky knit robes I tend to just throw on whatever I find! And Jessica Day is the absolute coolest; so whatever. I feel like I want to give my loungewear/sleepwear a makeover though. Check it out! So pick what works for you, get yourself a cup of Yogi tea, and watch that trash tv! Enjoy :-)
